The Advanced Technology and Development Division, an independent R&D center, is working on extensive research and development activities ranging from basic research to the development of new diagnostic tools in the medical science field.

BML has an independent R&D center which plays an intermediary role between basic medical science and clinical medicine. Our purpose is to develop innovative methods for clinical testing and diagnostic reagents to continue the progress of medical sciences and meet new social needs. We also provide inovative methods and diagnostic reagents to doctors. We aim toward achievements in basic medical sciences and contribute to the advancement of medical sciences. BML is actively involved in collaborative research with other academic research groups and discloses the results through publications in scientific journals and presentations at medical associations.

We contribute to the progress of medical sciences through our R and D activities achieved in our facilities equipped with advanced equipments, and our innovative ideas.

We contribute to the progress of medical sciences through our R and D activities achieved in our facilities equipped with advanced equipments, and our innovative ideas. In addition to the general laboratories, the R & D Center is equipped with facilities and high-technology instruments such as clean rooms, tissue culture rooms, homoisothermal rooms, RI rooms, an animal facility, and a biohazard facility required for research and development in wide range of medical fields. Our specialists work on R & D activities through researching client needs such as clinicians and researchers, selecting appropriate subjects suitable for organizing projects, and obtain results using advanced technologies in molecular biology, genetic engineering, and proteomics analysis. Each research team has its emphasis on lifestyle diseases, immunological and allergic diseases, and genetic and chromosomal areas. We also contribute to the advancement of medical practice by participating in joint research projects with other universities and public research organizations.
