Providing a wide range of services in the food sanitation control and food processing environments. (Microbiological assay of food and food processing environments)
In recent years, while food-associated issues have been a focal point and food safety and reliability continue to draw attention, the food industry regards sanitation control as the subject that must be handled. BML hopes to contribute to the field of food sanitation by utilizing technologies obtained in the field of microbiological assay. Contract services are provided in three categories: microorganism testing for raw materials, prepared foods, and processed foods; environmental hygiene testing for food processing facilities and kitchens; and microorganism testing by food processing supervisors. BML Food Science Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of BML, provides food hygiene tests, sales of simple kits, such as HACEP Mate, to support HACCP®, and consultation services for comprehensive support of in-house sanitation.
*HACCP: A food sanitation control system developed as a food processing control system and used to process space diets given to U.S. astronauts. The system defines seven principles in HA (Hazard Analysis) and CCP (Control of Critical Points). |
