ANALYSIS OF RESIDUAL AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS
A positive list system came into effect on May 29, 2006, as the environment surrounding food diversifies and becomes international with an increase in imported food.
This is a system that limits the use of almost all agricultural chemicals in food, and any food containing chemicals that exceed the specified limit are banned from being distributed in order to ensure food safety. BML has been tackling analysis of residual agricultural chemicals since 2000. Based on our accumulated results, we are simultaneously performing package analysis and individual analysis of residual agricultural chemicals, utilizing HPLC, GC/MS, and LC/MS/MS instruments so that we can ensure reliability for producers, retailers and consumers. We wish to promote a more accurate and faster analysis system to support food safety.

DENTAL TESTS FOR BACTERIA RELATED TO DENTAL CARIES AND PERIODONTAL DISEASE
It has long been known that dental caries is caused by an infection with oral bacteria called Streptococcus mutans. Anaerobic bacteria such as Porphyromonas gingivalis are said to cause periodontal disease, and it has been found that they are closely involved in symptomatic progression. BML dental test services, including bacterial tests by isolated cultures and genetic analysis by the highly sensitive PCR-Invader method, are utilized in the diagnosis of oral diseases, dental treatment policy decision making, and construction of preventive programs. Utilization of the system is recommended for many patients to prove that dental caries and periodontal diseases are chronic infections in the oral cavity.
